The Sanctuary CDC
Compassion, Mercy and Justice must go beyond the walls of the church..
From the moment this church was a passion burning in the heart of Pastor Efrem Smith, it was also a partnership. A partnership with the people and organizations that make Minneapolis a city worth investing in. The Sanctuary CDC was launched as a separate non-profit organization to work with others in our community around 3 focus areas:
- Youth Development
- Workforce Development
- Community Engagement
The Sanctuary CDC helps facilitate conversations, partnerships and programs such as:
- Momentum Workforce Development Program
- The Hip Hop Academy
- Beautiful - Helping middle school girls discover their beauty from the inside out
- Sanctuary in the Schools - Bringing tutors, school supplies and encouragement to Minneapolis Public School Staff
- City Matters - A learning experience designed to help you get connected to “city matters”
- Love Minneapolis - Simple Acts of Service in our Community.
