SuperBowl Sunday, 2003, Efrem & Donecia Smith gathered a few dozen people in a basement for a SuperBowl Party and began sharing a vision of bringing hope, justice, and movement of a reconciliation in the heart of North Minneapolis. Together, they ate shared meals, shared each other's stories and the Sanctuary began to grow rapidly.
Over the years, many things have changed. And, many things have stayed the same. We're still driven by God's love to grow a movement of reconciliation starting in north minneapolis and moving beyond.
Currently, we meet for our Sunday worship experience at 10am at Anwatin Middle School and we're constantly working to provide opportunities to get people connected and to help you make your next move on your life journey with God.
Together, as individuals and as a church community, we're here to:
-
Ground ourselves in scripture
-
Build healthy, supportive relationships
-
Live a lifestyle more like Jesus
-
Worship together through shared experiences
So, what kind of church do you want?
